I often get asked about how to develop a marketing strategy for someone's therapy or coaching practice. While I have a process that I use to take clients through this, I have to confess that, after reading this article, How to Design a Marketing Strategy, by the Guerrilla Marketing pair of Jay Conrad Levinson and his wife, Jennie, I need to have a re-think. 

No, actually, that's wrong. I just need to adopt this simple 7-sentence model they have developed, and BAM! ... that process will have become much more straightforward and achievable for everyone.

Simplicity is the name of the game here, but that doesn't take away from its impact. Jay and Jennie invite you to answer 7 questions to create 7 sentences that summarise your offer, your market and your identity, and then work to this for 6 months before reviewing and adapting as required. Simple, simple, simple! And a real eye-opener for anyone who has struggled to get their marketing strategy in shape.
